Adapting the WPAI for Electronic Data Collection (EDC)
- Modify the instructions for marking a response, e.g., for use with a stylus or touch-screen.
- Convert response fields, e.g., drop-down menu for hours worked, checkboxes instead of numbers to circle.
- For small screen, adapt items to fit the screen, e.g., use two screens for one item.
- Use CAPS for emphasis if bolding is not available.
- Create capability to review/change response.
- Test comparability with paper version
